Improve outcomes across the cardiometabolic continuum of care

The Quest Diagnostics-Cleveland HeartLab Cardiometabolic Center of Excellence can help you meet Triple Aim goals to benefit your members, plan sponsors, and organization

Cardiometabolic disease: costly and elusive

Cardiovascular Disease (CVD)1

~$330 billion annually

#1 cause of death

Half of heart attack and stroke patients have “normal” cholesterol levels1

Diabetes2

$327 billion annually

#7 cause of death

About a fourth of adults with diabetes go undiagnosed3

Time for new approaches

Routine testing for cardiovascular disease and diabetes may leave gaps. Our advanced cardiometabolic testing and expertise deliver insights that may help physicians to take earlier action for improved patient outcomes, reduced costs, and enhanced member experience.

Our story

Standard-of-care testing (e.g., glucose, HbA1c, and lipid panels) is essential to appropriate care for at-risk patients and should be a routine part of annual care. However, those laboratory tests may not provide all the diagnostics tools needed to understand a member’s risk for cardiometabolic disease or its progression.

That is why the Quest Diagnostics-Cleveland HeartLab Cardiometabolic Center of Excellence is continually innovating to advance the approach to cardiometabolic testing. We offer:

Innovative biomarkers for testing
A team of experts for consulting
Educational
resources

For better health outcomes

With advanced tests such as Cardio IQ® Insulin Resistance Panel with Score and Cardio IQ® Advanced Lipid Panel with Inflammation, we help network clinicians uncover hidden risk sooner.

Clinicians may also enroll patients in our wellness programs to keep members focused on better health.

For reduced spend

We help prevent the costliest and most debilitating cardiometabolic events while delivering a superior experience.

Combining innovation, expertise, and access to advanced testing and programs, we help you maintain your standards of care quality—while helping to reduce costs, improve health outcomes, and enhance the member experience.

Diabetes and heart disease and their associated outcomes, including stroke and heart attack, are often preventable with behavioral changes and effective drug therapies. Let our Center of Excellence help you identify more at-risk members sooner for better prevention—and better health.
